Senator Crewing (Manila), Inc. (SCM) was founded in 1990. Employing highly competent Masters, officers and ratings for modern large container vessels, SCM quickly gained recognition from quality oriented European ship owners and, at the same time, established an excellent reputation among professional Filipino seafarers. Experiencing continued growth, the company recorded a total deployment of 2375 in 2009.

SCM’s quality assurance system is certified in accordance with ISO9001: 2008 by Germanischer Lloyd – Hamburg. In recognition of its accomplishments and high standard, Senator Crewing in 2006 received the Top Performer Award from the Philippine Department of Labor. Currently (2010/2011) the fleet served by SCM consists of 85 German-owned large container vessels and 8 LPG tankers, all of which are covered by ITF collective bargaining agreements. The company’s work team includes experienced Master Mariners, Certified Public Accountants and highly specialized administrational clerks, most of whom have been with the company for many years.

SCM’s office premises are located in Ortigas Avenue, Mandaluyong City where the company occupies the fifth floor of the Hyatt Centre.
